He was predeceased by: his wife Lillian M. Mackin (Danells); his parents, Daniel Mackin and Mary Luella Mackin; his son Sean; and his siblings, William, Joseph, Gerry, Paul, Margaret and Lillian (Honey).
He is survived by: his brother Greg; his children, Patrick (Nadine), Maureen (Tim) and Kelly (Shawn); and his granddaughters, Lauren, Hannah, Lindsay, Sarah, Brooke and Addison.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, March 12th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Fundy Funeral Home (230 Westmorland Rd, Saint John, NB E2J2G3). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, March 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Stella Maris Church (201 Bayside Dr, Saint John, NB E2J1A5).
In lieu of flowers, donations to Loch Lomond Village Recreation Department and ALS Society of Canada would be appreciated by the family.
