He was predeceased by: his brother Philip Jenkins. He is survived by: his parents, Richard Surette and Jean Surette of Amherst, NS; his wife Sandy Surette; his sons, Grant Surette of Edmonton, AB, Andrew Surette (Madison Maughan) of Saint John, NB and Travis Surette of Saint John, NB; his sister-in-law Brenda Thomas of Fredericton, NB; his siblings, Susan Brown of Waasis, NB, Debbie Surette and Terry Surette of Saint John, NB; and his son Fundy Soccer. He is also survived by several nieces and a nephew.

Due to Covid health restrictions services will be held at a later date TBA.

Donations may be made to the Oncology Department of the SJRH and the Community Autism Center (CACI).
