He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Foster and Luella Foster (Bacon); and his siblings, Mayes, Dorothy, Norma, Gregory, Nerea, Shirley and Douglas.

He is survived by: his wife Barbara Foster (Sullivan); his daughters, Carla Foster and Charyl Bowman (Dean); his grandchildren, Erin Clayton (Jason), Virginia Clark (Brian), Nathan Clark (Lauren) and Emily Foster; his stepgrandson Jonathan Bowman; his great grandchildren, Ada, Mia, Emma, Nathaniel Clayton, James Rich, Meah Foster-Cormier, Rowan and Halle Clark; his siblings, Lloyd Foster (Rosalind) and Lois Lemmon; and his friends, Mark, Kelsey and Charlie. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and extended family.
