She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Mercer and Violet Mercer (Carrick); her husband Bill; and her sister Susan Ruddick. She is survived by: her children, Beth and Ronald (Gay Wilson); her grandsons, Alexander, Patrick and Joseph; her great grandchild Violet; her siblings, John Mercer and Barbara Ellis (Glendon); and her brother-in-law Bill Ruddick. She is also survived by several cousins, nieces, and nephews.
