It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Celia Patricia Janes (Saint John, New Brunswick), who passed away on March 21, 2022, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Russell Thompson and Pat; and her siblings, Elmer Thompson, Marie Fulton, Inez Dunfield, Maurice Thompson and Winston Thompson.

She is survived by: her husband Gerald; her children, Dale Janes, Laurie Ann Janes, Alison Janes and Graham Janes (Beverly); her brother Eldon Thompson (Virginia); and her grandchildren, Aaron, Drew, Pierrette, Seyward, Russell, Hyacinth, Patricia, Cecile, Susan, Laura and John. She is also survived by several great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
