We bid farewell to Christina Whitenect (Saint John, New Brunswick), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on April 23, 2026 at the age of 91. Christina touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred Frost (Jack) and Ellen Frost; her husband Donald Ralph Chesley Whitenect; and her sisters, Ann McLean and Rita Johnson.
She is survived by: her siblings, Alfred, Bert, Douglas Frost and Janie Clarke; her children, Janet McLeod (Butch), Roger Whitenect (Carolyn) and Susan Simmons (Owen); her grandchildren, Donna, Chase, Adam, Kathleen, Julie, Lauren, Thomas and Maria; and her great grandchildren, Regan, Logan, Spencer, Anastasia and Charlie.
A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 28th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Fundy Funeral Home Chapel (230 Westmorland Rd, Saint John, NB E2J2G3).
For those that wish, memorial donations to the Alzheimer's Society of New Brunswick would be greatly appreciated by the family.
