She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew Brown and Elsie Brown (Crowe); her husband William George Charles (Bill); and her sisters, Sharon Brown and Muriel Fraser (Bruce).

She is survived by: her children, John Brown (Susan) of West Kelowna, BC and Janice Brown of Saint John, NB; her brother Robert Brown (Helen) of Dartmouth, NS; her grandchildren, Lynn Berndt (Kerry) and Stephen (Natasha); and her great grandchildren, Kameron, William, Madeline, Katalina, Emmett, Ronan and Tiana. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to a charity of your choice.
