She was predeceased by: her parents, William Prince and Lola Prince; her husband Vernon Dempsey; and her brothers, William "Billy" Prince, Bruce Prince and Pudge Prince.

She is survived by: her daughter Jennifer Murray (Trevor); her stepdaughter Kim Veinotte (Joe); her son Andrew Prince (Kim); her stepson Kris Dempsey; and her sister-in-law Susan McGinnis. She is also survived by nieces and nephews; and grandchildren who will miss their Nanny.
