He was predeceased by: his parents, Hazen Mitchell (Bud) and Marjorie Lee Mitchell (Pendleton); and his brother Michael Mitchell. He is survived by: his wife Deborah Mitchell; his children, Brandon Mitchell (Cari), Shannon Keefe (Terry) and Justin Mitchell (Desiree); his brother Brian Mitchell (Jackie); and his grandchildren, Carter, Ethan, Jonah, Zoey, Cerah, Callum, Lyla, Drew and Chloe.

In his memory, donations to a charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
