He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Buck and Anna Pearl Buck (Whiteneck); his wife Laura Doreen Buck (Hamilton); and his sister Dolores Graham. He is survived by: his children, David (Inez) of Saint John, Darrell Jr. (Penny) of Saint John, Dwayne (Marlene) of Florida and Darelynn Connell (David) of Saint John; and his siblings, Denton Buck (Marilyn), Margaret Sprague of Saint John and Marjorie Moore of Saint John. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Remembrances in memory of Darrell may be made to the Diabetes Association, Alzheimer's Society or to the charity of the donor's choice.
