He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Doiron and Frances Doiron (Kane); his brother Paul; his sister-in-law Rosalind; his nieces and nephews, Paul and Francis; and his pet Abbey.

He is survived by: his daughters, Chelsie Hooper (Danny) and Courteney Carlin (Scott); his brothers, Keith Doiron (Beverly), Chris Doiron (Nancy) and Daryl Doiron (Mary Beth); and his grandchildren, Nevaeh, Axel, Paislee and Hadley.

In lieu of flowers donations in David's memory can be made to Ridgewood Addiction Services or the charity of the donor's choice.
