He is survived by: his wife Gloria MacGowan (Lowe) of Saint John; his sons, Blake MacGowan (June), Guelph Ont and David MacGowan (Robyn) of Saint John; his sisters, Sandra Ellis of Pictou, N. S. and Elaine Fraser (Lloyd) of Halifax, N. S.; and his grandsons, Noah MacGowan of Saint John, William MacGowan of Saint John and James MacGowan of Guelph. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
