He was predeceased by: his father W. Barrett Jamer; his brothers, John, Richard, Douglas and Winston; and his siblings-in-law, Harry, Kenneth, Jean, Katherine and Jane.

He is survived by: his wife Dora Jamer (Toner); his children, Gerald Jamer (Carol) and Rhonda Peterson (David); his sisters, Mary Doughty and Deanna Clark; his sister-in-law Charlene; and his grandchildren, Sarah Parsons (David), Rebecca Perrott (Kyle), Shiloh Peterson, Joshua Peterson (Deja), Micah Peterson (Katie) and Benjamin Peterson (Johanie). He is also survived by 20 great grandchildren as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
