He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley Durant and Edith Durant (Levigne); his wife Ann Durant (Crilley); his daughter Kim Ward; and his siblings, Fred Durant, Audrey Umgher and Dianne Orr.
He is survived by: his children, Trevor (Liz) of Rothesay and Tanya Colwell (Phil) of Saint John; his grandchildren, Jeremy, Kyle, Taylor, Hailey (Josh) and Keenan; his great grandchildren, Elise and Myles; his siblings, Donald (Colleen), Theresa Smith, Donna Van Leeuwen (Nick), Margaret Sciefers (Bill), Betty Bosco and Jean Donaldson; and his brother-in-law Jim Orr. He is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
