She was predeceased by: her parents, Agatha Blackmore (Sweeney) and Burton Blackmore; and her husband Ralph. She is survived by: her daughter Bonnie; her siblings, Junior, Marjorie, Florence, Mary, Joyce, Theresa and Gordie; her children, Kathy (George Cowan) of Bathurst, NB, Tony (DeeDee Eldridge) of Saint John, NB, Pamela (Bob Huggard) of Bedford, NS and Colleen (Paul Barry) of Rothesay, NB.; her grandchildren, Matthew Cowan (Niki Blissett), Justin Cowan (Alyssa Russell), Nick Cowan, Luke Gautreau, Erica Gautreau, Kayla Huggard, Ben Huggard, Sam Barry and Simon Barry; and her siblings-in-law, Alex Lumsden, Dorothy Gautreau, Eva Poirier and Elsie Young. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 2nd 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Fundy Funeral Home (230 Westmorland Rd, Saint John, NB E2J2G3).
