Deborah Jane Lawson Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Deborah Jane Lawson of Saint John, New Brunswick, who passed away on November 1, 2025 at the age of 72. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Deborah Jane Lawson to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Vincent Peterson and Luella Peterson (Devitt); her father-in-law Lafaye Lawson; her nephew Josh Peterson; and her brother-in-law Fred MacLaren.
She is survived by: her husband Allen; her children, Jenna Horne (Justin) of Edmonton, AB and Michael Lawson (Shyla) of Saint John, NB.; her siblings, Ronah MacLaren and Timothy Peterson (Margaret); her mother-in-law Ada Lawson; and her siblings-in-law, Melvin Lawson (Carol) and Sheila Lappage (Kirk). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, November 6th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM. A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Mission Point Church (130 Mark Dr, Saint John, NB E2J3S9). A burial was held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 3:15 PM at the Ripples Community Cemetery (219 Ripples Station Rd, Sheffield Parish, NB E4B1C1).
