He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard Watson McVicar and Constance Jean McVicar (Cooke); and his son Darian McVicar. He is survived by: his son Dawson Hatt; his siblings, Kerri McVicar (Damien Gibson), Amanda McVicar and Terrence McVicar; and his nieces and nephews, Jamal Ali, Rasheed Ali, Jabreel Ali, Zadaja McVicar, Tristan McVicar, Dustin Godin-McVicar, Amina Ali, Fatimah Ali, Khadeejah Ali, Kaitlin Compeau and Ayanna McVicar. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins, and life-long friends.
