It is with sadness that the passing of Donald McGaghey (Saint John, New Brunswick) is shared. Donald, born on November 22, 1934, passed away on October 11, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence McGaghey and Edith McGaghey (Totten); his daughters, Julie Christensen and Ruth Ann McGaghey; and his brother Gerald.
He is survived by: his wife Glendine McGaghey (Garland Hicks); his children, Reginald Lounsbury (Peggy), Roger Lounsbury (Jill), Chipman Hicks (Heather), Dawn Colpitts (Robert), Susan Beaton, Cheryl Wilcox (Randy), Cindy Hicks, Crystal Hicks, Candy Scott (Bill) and Chelsea Tucker (Brad); his sisters, Joy, Sharon and Judy McCullom (Clayton); his grandchildren, Corey, Tracy, Matthew, Marty, Nathan, Nicholas, Kailie, Tyler, Brody, Maple, Ashley, Emily and Jarred; and his nephew Wade. He is also survived by his eight great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Seventh-Day Adventist Church (509 Woodward Ave, Saint John, NB E2K4N1). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Seventh Day Adventist Church (509 Woodward Ave, Saint John, NB E2K4N1).
