He was predeceased by: his parents, John Day and Flora Day (Clayton); and his siblings, Billy Day, Jackie Day, Charlie Day, Hortance Ramsay and Valarie Wyles.
He is survived by: his wife Betty C. Day (Vroom); his children, Kip (Angela), Cindy Thiemann (David) and Donna McNamee (Joseph); his grandchildren, Trisha Therrien (Marco), Shane Day (Kayla), Mike Day (John), Tasha Thibodeau (Paul), Salena Thiemann (Amie), Tracy Williams (Murray) and Shawna McNamee (Billy); and his great grandchildren, Jake Meagher, Adrian Thiemann and Shyanne Doucette. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.
