It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Doris Connell (Saint John, New Brunswick), who passed away on May 13, 2021, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Doris Connell to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Emanuel Gallant and Catherine Gallant; her former life partner Walter M. Curran; her son Walter N. Curran of Saint John; her husband Murray Connell of Public Landing; her son-in-law Dwight Thompson of Central Greenwich; and her siblings, Arthur, Agnes Jaillet, Myrtle Jaillet, Gertrude Morrison, Bertha Paisley, Lorraine Ward and Theresa Blanchard.

She is survived by : her children, Lynda Curran-Scott, Susan Sutton (Austin), Wendy Laird (David), Judy Walker (Peter), Mary Elderkin (Greg), Joanne St (Ben), Traci Curran (Wayne Myers) and Michael; and her siblings, Marguerite MacLeod, Esther McGraw, Albert Gallant (Marie) and Leo Gallant (Eleanor). She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and friends.

Due to Covid restrictions, a Funeral Service will follow in the Fundy Funeral Home chapel beginning at 1 p. m. by invitation only.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Doris may be made to the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #87 or to the charity of the donor's choice.
