With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Douglas Fairbrother (Saint John, New Brunswick), born in Hampton, New Brunswick, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 18, 2024 at the age of 66. In bidding Douglas adieu, let us not mourn the silence that now fills the spaces Douglas once occupied, but rather celebrate the vibrant colors he painted upon the canvas of our lives. For while he may have departed from this earthly realm, his spirit remains a beacon of light, guiding us through the darkest of nights.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Charles Fairbrother and Bernice Fairbrother; and his grandparents, Robert, Mary Darrell, Gertrude and Thomas Fairbrother.

He is survived by : his wife Tina Fairbrother. He is also survived by uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews, grandchildren, friends.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 24th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Fundy Funeral Home (230 Westmorland Rd, Saint John, NB E2J2G3). A graveside service was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Fernhill Cemetery (200 Westmorland Rd, Saint John, NB E2J2G3).
