With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Edith Cavell Caroline Wyers (Saint John, New Brunswick), born in Campbellton, New Brunswick, who passed away on January 19, 2024 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Demeau and Lillian Demeau; and her husband Baden. She is survived by: her children, Baden Wyers (Barb), Marion McNamee and Sally Wyers (Raymond); her son-in-law Lindsey Searle; her grandchildren, Mark Searle (Diana), Lisa Leblanc (Phil), Jillian Haslett (Josh), Courtenay MacDonald (Jason), Morgan O'Donnell (Jeffrey), Colin MacDonald (Kendra), Crystal Herrington (Barry) and Karen Somerville (Terry); her daughter Faith Searle; and her great grandchild Myles O'Donnell. She is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren.
Donations in memory of Edith would be greatly appreciated to the Saint John Regional Hospital Palliative Unit or the donor's choice.
