He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilfred "Ted" McNeil and Mildred Esther McNeil; and his siblings, Lloyd, Charles, Raymond McNeil and Heather McNeil.
He is survived by: his wife Lois McNeil (Watson); his children, Stephen McNeil (Susan), Lower Sackville, James McNeil (Fleur), Eastern Passage and Melanie Renault (Colin); his grandchildren, Brandon (Brittany), Noah, Hannah and Elijah; and his siblings, Donald McNeil (Rosa), Halifax, Peter McNeil, Weymouth and Mary McNutt. He is also survived by many brothers and sister-in-laws and nieces and nephews.
