It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Edwina Gregory Hughes of Saint John, New Brunswick, who passed away on July 2, 2022, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Nordstrom and Violet Nordstrom (Lobb); her husband Scott Hughes; her brother Sonny Nordstrom; her son-in-law David Lawson; and her siblings-in-law, Alan "Bing" McNeil and Margaret Nordstrom.
She is survived by: her daughters, Debbie Hurley (Glenn) and Lynn Lawson; her grandchildren, Jillian Ring (Colin), Mark Lawson (Alicia Scott), Brent Lawson (Terilyn), Lindsey Carleton (Drew), Courtney Hanley (Randy) and Jeremy Hurley (Jacqueline Lorkowska); her great grandchildren, Madilyn, Mya, Max, Luke, Amelia, Jude, Libby, Jax, Sloane and Parker; her siblings, James, Gerald (Marilyn) and Barbara McNeil; her sister-in-law Yvonne Nordstrom; and her pets, Gizmo, Jr., Coby and Riley. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins and so very many friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in her memory to the Kingsway Care Center, Alzheimer Foundation of NB, Foundation Glycosolation through the Saint John Regional Hospital Foundation or to the charity of the donor's choice would be greatly appreciated by her family.
