She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Mansfield and Jane Ann Wheaton (Harrison); her husband Mervyn Jardine Sweezey; her daughter Joan Bergstrom; and her sisters, Jean Cullins and Doris Stewart (Murphy).

She is survived by: her daughter Sharon D'Arcy (James) of Saint John; her grandchildren, Brian S. D'Arcy (Jennifer), Dawna L. D'Arcy, Kira-Lee Ellis (Brian) and Michael G. Bergstrom; and her great grandchildren, Cameron Lauren D'Arcy, Annika Ellis, Berg Ellis and Joel Ellis. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
