She was predeceased by: her parents, John Porter and Faye Porter (Lyons); and her sisters, Noreen Porter and Marie Alchorn (Murray). She is survived by: her close friend Lee McCollum; her children, Jeffery Thompson (Melanie Savoury), Jinelle Thompson and Scott Thompson; her siblings, Peggy Watson (Ernie), John A. Jr. Porter, Dale Porter (Brenda), Susan Collett (Peter) and Lori Kelly (Tim); her grandchildren, Avery Thompson, Bailey Thompson and Porter Thompson; and her pet Roamer. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers donations in Elaine's memory can be made to NB Lung Association, Heart and Stroke, Bobby's Hospice or a charity of the donor's choice.
