He was predeceased by: his parents, Eldon Ferris and Alice Ferris of Garnett Settlement, NB.; his wife Betty Ferris; his son Rusty; and his siblings, Fred (Melvine), Benny (Gloria) and Ruth.
He is survived by: his children, Cheryl MacDonald (Kevin) and Randy MacDonald (Nicole) of Saint John; his daughter-in-law Sherri MacLeod of Ottawa, ON.; his brother Norman Rowley (Jerri); his brother-in-law Brad Cameron; his grandchildren, Marie (Brandon), Jenny (Keith), Cory (Kimbra), Kelsie (Will), Morgan (Chad), Maria (Dylan) and Dylan (Carrie); his close friend Mary (Alvin) of Saint John; and his pet Ringo. He is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
Donations in Eldon's memory may be made to the Dialysis Unit at the Saint John Regional Hospital or the Children's Wish Foundation.
