With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Emery Douglas Hyslop (Saint John, New Brunswick), who passed away on October 23, 2025 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Emery Hyslop and Christina Hyslop; his former wife Hazel F. (Houghton); his wife Joan (Reese); his sons, Douglas Hyslop and Brian Hyslop; and his siblings, Constance Green, Ethel Newton and Donald Hyslop.
He is survived by: his close friend Pat Linton; his sons, Danny Hyslop (Jenn) of Mississauga, ON and Brent Hyslop (Tish) of Quispamsis, NB; his daughters-in-law, Mary Ellen Hyslop of Quispamsis, NB and Donna Hyslop of Brockville, ON; his grandchildren, Bradley (Lisa), Dean (Alyshia), Becky (Seth), Greg (Eric), Jenna, Laura (Kineta), Melissa (Conrad), Ben and Corey; and his great grandchildren, Erika, Bradley, Gabriel, Ezra, Luka, Stormi and Musi.
For those who wish, remembrances in memory of Emery may be made to the Alzheimer's Society, Canadian Cancer Society, the Heart and Stroke Foundation of NB or a charity of the donor's choice.
