He was predeceased by: his parents, Lionel Doucet and Amanda Doucet (Frenette); his wife Aurela; his siblings, Blanche, Lauza, Eulalie, Yolande, Cordelia, Gabrielle, Olga, Alyre, Oscar and Raoul; his great grandchild Alexander; and his sons-in-law, Alfred Duncan and Adrian Tobin.

He is survived by: his children, Gloria Duncan (late Alfred) of Moncton, Patricia Tobin (late Adrian) of Saint John, Paul (Heather) of Halifax and Louis (Kim) of Saint John; his grandchildren, Paul Duncan (Angela), Nicole Foran (Jim), Marc Doucet (Lynde), Jeffrey Doucet (Allison), Christopher Tobin (Nicole), Corey Doucet (Karen), Matthew Doucet (Samantha) and Nicolas Doucet (Katelyn); his great grandchildren, Terra, Kylie, Aidan, Brodie, Pyper, Layla, Aryia, Addison, Evan, Daphne, Nora, Sadie Rae, Josie Mae and Abel; his siblings, Jacqueline Drysdale (late Lucien) of Bathurst, Juliette Graveline (late André) of Longueuil, QC, Huguette Lagacé (late François) of Nigadoo, NB and Ulysse (late Jeannine Roy) of Moncton, NB.; his daughter-in-law Kim Doucet; his close friend Jean Paul Daigle; Suzie and Frankie. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and a large extended family.
