He was predeceased by : his parents, Patrick Cogger and Alice Cogger (Mahoney); his wife Olive Cogger (Walsh); and his siblings, Joseph, Jerome, Larry, Kaye White, Loretta Goguen and Margaret Casey.

He is survived by : his daughter Nancy Cogger; his son-in-law Mac Orr of Newmarket, ON; his granddaughter Maggie Cogger-Orr of Auckland, NZ; and his sisters, Pat Byrne (Southfield) and Mary Gallagher (Saint John). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
