He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Nice and Beatrice Nice (Elliott); his brothers, William and Fred; and his nephews, Frankie Nice and Dale Hooper.

He is survived by: his wife Sharron Nice; his daughters, Kimberley Gillmor (Daniel), Kelly Nice (Eric McDonough) and Christa Bosse (Sean); his sisters, Joan Meating and Verna Hooper; his grandchildren, Malcolm, Newton, Marilyn, Mackenzie and Mitchell; and his great grandchildren, Charlotte and Octavia. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.

Memorial donations to the M.S. Society or the Charlotte County Cancer Society would be appreciated in lieu of flowers.
