With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Fred E. Sharkey (Saint John, New Brunswick), who passed away on December 1, 2022. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Sharkey and Dorothy Sharkey (Harley); his wife Edna; and his grandson Irvine. He is survived by: his children, Margo Eatmon (Irvine) of Barnesville, Fred Sharkey of Saint John and Tait Sharkey of British Columbia; his siblings, Jeanette Sharkey of Saint John, Ann Whalen of Saint John, Dorothy Soucy (Gilbert) of Saint John, Lorraine Sharkey of Saint John, Carolyn Smith (David) of Saint John, Eugene Ritchie of Saint John, Harold Sharkey (Lynn) of Saint John and Gary Sharkey of Saint John; his grandchildren, Scott, Jason, Jillian, Tamara, Joey, Kaitlynn, Lucas and Tait; and his great grandchildren, Gavin, Ben, Jaxon, Bailey, Serenity, Miguel, Liberty, Hunter, Alex, Mackenzie, Lainie and Greylynn. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
