She was predeceased by: her parents, Dan Macdonald and Mabel Macdonald; her son Robert; her siblings, Audrey MacKay, Thelma Bowness, Shirly MacDonald, Fred Macdonald, Norman Macdonald, Stuart MacDonald and Gordie MacDonald; and her niece Crystal Ann Loatman.
She is survived by: her husband Brian Hogan (Beaver); her children, Fred Hogan (Susan), Jason Hogan (Robyn), Nadine Boudreau (Ron) and Anne McHugh; and her brother Kenny MacDonald. She is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Donations in memory of Freda may be made out to the Alzheimer's Society.
