He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Brooks and Beryl Brooks (White); his son Timothy; his sister Nola Gaudette; his nephew Michael Gaudette; and his parents-in-law, James and Celeste O'Neill.
He is survived by: his wife Rita Brooks (O'Neill); his daughter Tracey Brooks (Christopher Hamilton) of Edmonton; his granddaughter Kristin Brooks (Christopher Dempsey); his great grandchildren, Kayden of Saint John, Paityn Brooks-Dempsey of Saint John and Tammy Klein (Royce); his sisters, Margaret Dawson (Bud) of Edmonton and Ada Wilson (late Ernie) of Saint John; his brother-in-law David O'Neill (Terri) of Oromocto, N. B.; and also, Michael Brooks (Anya King), Taylor, Danielle, Donovan of Saint John, Matthew Brooks (Aleksandra Kulczynska), Lukas, Logan, Ella and Michelle of Calgary, Alberta.. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Resting at Brenan's Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB (634-7424), due to the circumstances of the current pandemic, there will be no public visitation and a private graveside will be held.
