He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Malcolm Garfield and Vivian Garfield (Craft). He is survived by: his daughter Carolyn Connell (David); his granddaughter Scottie; and his siblings, Thomas MacDonald (Marilyn), Daryl Garfield (Diana), Anne Lingley (Karl), Linda LaPointe, Donna Wheaton, Sharon Beddow (Liam), Florence Knox, Vivian Wheaton (Kenny) and Thelma Clayton (Rick). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
