It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Gemma Haggarty (Saint John, New Brunswick), who passed away at the age of 82, on December 22, 2021. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Holmes and Alphonsina Holmes (LeBreton); her siblings, Robert (Bob) and Mary; and her brothers-in-law, Andrew Valdron and Arthur Menier.
She is survived by: her husband Frank Haggarty; her siblings, Alice Menier and Jonny Holmes (Phyllis); her children, Carol-Ann Haggarty (Dana Bartlett), Danielle (Mike Mills) and Donald Haggarty; and her grandchildren, Olivia, Jessica, Jenna, Charlotte and Dana. She is also survived by two great grandsons and many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
Due to Covid-19 health measures placed on indoor gatherings by the Government of New Brunswick, all of those, 12 and over, attending the Visitation and Mass of Christian Burial will be required to show proof of vaccination and a piece of government issued ID or proof of medical exemption.
In lieu of flowers donations in Gemma's memory can be made to the Cerebral Palsy Canada or the charity of the donor's choice.
