It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Barton (Saint John, New Brunswick), who passed away on September 19, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Barton and Agnus Barton (Starkey); his daughters, Mary Barton and Lori Ward (Rick); and his sister Gloria Orser.
He is survived by: his wife Fran Barton (Popple); his children, Linda Barton (Kim Beckett), Michele Tracey (Travis) and Joey Pitre (Della); his son-in-law Donnie Folkins; his grandchildren, Mike (Jessica), Stephen, Brittany (Allan), David (Dallon), Shanna (Matt), Casey (Andrew), Cody (Adrianna) and Savannah; his nieces, Elaine Orser, Sharon Orser and Karen Orser; and his nephew Brian Orser. He is also survived by 21 great-grandchildren.
