George Little Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of George Little (Saint John, New Brunswick), who passed away on May 15, 2021 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, George Little and Mary Little (Wyper); and his sister Pearl Fraser (Bob). He is survived by: his sons-in-law, Ross and Tim; his wife Pearl Floey (Cassels); his daughters, Jacqueline Ann Stroud (Ross) and Alison Joan Little Halifax (Tim); his grandchildren, Dr. Aaron Christopher Stroud (Halifax) and Lily Jing Ya Crooks (Halifax); and his brother Jack Little (Frances). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Due to Covid and family request there will be no visitation or service.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a donation be made to UNICEF, The Alzheimer Society of New Brunswick or a charity of your choosing.

“George Little was an amazing English teacher. I was fortunate to be part of one Simonds High class for two years and enjoyed both. He didn't teach about troubled King Lear, he lived it for us with that pleasing accent, rolling r's and masterful display of our english language. Looking back, I so wish I could have had the foresight to record some of those classes to enjoy and absorb again. I'd never tire of listening to that man speak.........about anything.
