George Pottle Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Pottle (Saint John, New Brunswick), who passed away on November 18, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, George W. Pottle and Nellie Pottle (Barton); and his siblings, Murray, Arthur and Leona.

He is survived by: his wife Frances; his children, Carl Pottle (Isabelle) of Gabriola Island, BC, Andrew Pottle (Wendy) of Quispamsis, Gwen Calvin of Saint John and Janice Atwin (Frank) of Kingsclear, NB; his stepchildren, Alan Lamb of Quispamsis, Alison O'Hanley (Allie) of Quispamsis, Andrea Peacock (Brian) of Quispamsis and Annette Lamb of Saint John; his grandchildren, Philippe, Shawn, Lina, Jennifer, Amanda, Murray, Ben, Sam, Jack and Ella; and his great grandchildren, Curtis, Mabel, Clarke, Jayden and Lincoln. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and friends.

Due to COVID-19 health measures placed on indoor gatherings, all those 12 and older attending visitation and service will be required to wear masks, show proof of vaccination and a piece of government issued ID.

Donations in memory of George may be made to the Kings Way Care Center Foundation, Canadian Red Cross or to the charity of the donor's choice.
