He was predeceased by: his parents, George Thomas and Eva Maude Thomas (Storm); his siblings, Fred, Raymond Richard, Dot Grass, Lillian Ryan and Kay Griffin; his siblings' children, Gordon Ryan, David Ryan, Michael Ryan and Dianna Ryan; and his pet Jake.
He is survived by: his brother Robert Baird (Bonnie); his nephews, George Grass (Eulaine), John Grass (Rosane), Jim Grass (Lynn), Robert Ryan (Nora) and Randy Ryan (Vickey); and his close friends, Paul McQuinn (Arlene), Dale Burnett (Bob), Kenny Hartley (Kelly) and Richard Hartley (Theresa).
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 5th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Fundy Funeral Home (230 Westmorland Rd, Saint John, NB E2J2G3). A memorial service will be held on Friday, September 5th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Fundy Funeral Chapel (230 Westmorland Rd, Saint John, NB E2J2G3). A reception will be held on Friday, September 5th 2025 at 12:45 PM at the Fundy Reception Centre.
