He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley Charles Sherwood and Mary Edna Walsh; his wife Hilda Mary Sherwood; his daughter Sharon Sherwood; and his sisters, Joan Carrier and Marlene Newhook.
He is survived by: his daughters, Ann Davis (Wayne), Linda Kirkpatrick, Debbie Lowell (Danny), Cathy Middleton (Dougie), Terry Williams (Claude) and Eileen Sherwood (John); and his sister Yvonne Jones. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren, and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
