He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Ellis and Frances Ellis (Patterson). He is survived by: his children, John Ellis and Anne McPhee (Steven); his brother Charles Ellis (Dawn); his grandchildren, Rebecca Sherriff (Justin) and Andrew McPhee; his great grandchildren, Jackson MacNamara-Bowland and Avery Craft; his significant other Barbara Ellis; and his siblings, Frank, Lester and Margaret Monteith. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
