He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald Wagar and Violet Wagar (Pollock). He is survived by: his significant other Catherine Farrell (Meurling); and his siblings, Pamela Sinclair (Tom) and Bruce Wagar (Laurie).

He enjoyed the music and camaraderie of the band for a couple of years before Covid19 made rehearsals and performances impossible.
