It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Gwen (MacUmber Foote) Ward (Saint John, New Brunswick), who passed away on October 15, 2020, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Macumber and Minnie Macumber (Porter); her former husband Melvin Foote; her husband Arthur Ward; and her siblings, Linwood Macumber (Buster), Freda and Gladys.
She is survived by: her children, Dianne L. Godfrey (Charles) and Brian Foote (Jennifer); her brother Bart Macumber (Patricia); her grandchildren, Cynthia Chaisson (Michael) and Jonah Foote; and her great grandchildren, Andrew Chaisson (Kelsey) and Jessica Chaisson. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
They have become dear friends and part of our extended family especially for Mom during this time of Covid.
