With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Haamid Rasheed (Saint John, New Brunswick), who passed away on May 1, 2025 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Darrell Criss and Mary Criss; and his daughter Melanda Criss. He is survived by: his siblings, Jean Ross (Foster) and Mervin Criss (Theresa); his significant other Laurie Gardner; and his children, Maryam Rasheed, Kendra Broad (Aaron), Vashti Gardner (Ryan Cavan) and Sabra King (Alex). He is also survived by grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
In lieu of flowers sent to the family, those who wish may make a donation to Romero House in Rasheed's memory.
