He was predeceased by: his wife Doris Dempster (Guitard); his parents, Howard Bliss and Anna Elizabeth Dempster (Cameron); his son Henry (Cindy); and his siblings, Howard, Donald, Andrew, Margaret and Hazel.
He is survived by: his children, Albert (Sis), Jack, Darlene Leslie (Archie), Kitty Dempster, Sandra Whitenect (Howard) and Vicki Stephen (Mike). He is also survived by 19 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren, as well as cousins, nieces, nephews, and many friends.
Due to the current pandemic there will not be any public visitation or funeral service.
