He was predeceased by: his parents, Murray McFate and Florence McFate (Paisley); his son Andrew; and his brother Roland. He is survived by: his former wife Loraine McRae; his wife Georgena; his children, Paul (Linda), Malcolm, Lori, Bradley (Suzanne), Lyndon (Aimee) and Rosalyn (Blair); his stepchildren, Stephen (Zunnie), Michael, Beth and Mary (Denny); his brother Cyril (Jackie); and his sister-in-law Elaine. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
