He was predeceased by: his parents, Eric Golding and Freda Golding (Hoyt); his sister Joye (Jim Sprague); his former wife Barbara Joan Golding (Fry); and his daughter Shelley Lynn Bowland.

He is survived by: his wife Faye (Lyons); his son Kevin (Rachelle) of Saint John; his granddaughters, Meghan Bowland (Nick) and Erin Bowland; his daughter Susan Fitzgerald (Lance) of Saint John; and his son-in-law James Bowland.
