She was predeceased by: her parents, Harmen Beeksma and Uilkje Beeksma; and her husband Gerald H. McCracken. She is survived by: her children, David of Rothesay, Kathryn McCracken-Doull (Doug) of Dieppe, NB and Leslie Simson (Hugh) of Canmore, AB; her grandchildren, Aislin, Grant, Dahlia Simson and Joe Doull; her siblings, Eb Quist of Beamsville, ON, Jim Beeksma (Barb) and Jack Beeksma; her siblings-in-law, Bill McCracken (Beth) of Vancouver, BC and Jane McLennan (Bruce) of Ottawa, ON; and her pet Lucy. She is also survived by her family and many friends.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 10th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the St. Paul's Church (4 Church Ave, Rothesay, NB E2E5G4). A burial will be held on Monday, November 10th 2025 at 2:15 PM at the Fernhill Cemetery (200 Westmorland Rd, Saint John, NB E2J2E7).
