She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Griffin and Gladys Griffin (Johnston); and her brother Lawrence Griffin (Ruth) of Sydney, NS.. She is survived by: her husband Bob Staples; her children, David Staples (Deborah) of Downingtown, PA and Laurie Ritchie (Joseph) of St. Louis, MO; and her grandchildren, Eric Ritchie, Zachary Staples and Jessica Ritchie. She is also survived by several relatives, and many longtime friends.
